Crew Agreement
Leave the drama at home. Focus on the work. Get paid.
How working with Omnificent Crew Management works, stated up front.
Who we are
Omnificent Crew Management is a third-party crew management company. We recruit, screen, place, and pay crew for festivals and events. We are not the organizer or producer of the events we staff. Each event’s producer sets its site rules, and you follow them while working through us.
You’re an independent contractor
You are not an employee. You run your own business.
- You choose which gigs to accept. Declining a gig never costs you your spot on the roster.
- You’re free to work for other agencies.
- You’re responsible for your own taxes. You’ll receive a 1099-NEC, and we need your W-9 before your first gig.
Before your first gig
- Complete a background check and drug screen through our screening provider.
- Sign the full Crew Independent Contractor Agreement.
Drug screening policy
All crew must pass a drug screen before placement. Our screening follows the laws of the state where you'll be working. We test for THC only where state law allows it or when a client's contract requires it.
Pay
- Rate: $20/hr for crew. Supervisors earn a $3/hr shift differential, for $23/hr. Your rate is confirmed in writing before you accept the gig.
- Shift length: shifts are 12 hours minimum.
- Hours: you’re paid for the hours you actually work.
- Festival entry wristband: crew who work less than 12 hours for an event do not receive an entry wristband, where the event provides them.
- Payment timing: Net 30 from the last day of the event.
- Payment method: direct deposit only. Banking information is collected securely during onboarding, never through this website.
Travel, camping, and meals
- Travel: crew cover their own travel to and from the event. Reliable transportation to local jobs is required.
- Camping: provided when the client provides it. Details are confirmed with every gig offer.
- Meals: a real meal is provided every shift.
Crew standards
Customer service and discipline are what set the Omnificent Crew apart.
- Greet every guest with respect, even when they don’t return it. You represent Omnificent Crew Management and our client.
- Stay alert and at your post. Leave only when relieved or released by your lead.
- Phone use at your post is limited to work communication and emergencies. Personal calls, texting, scrolling, and social media wait for your break.
- Earbuds: allowed where the event’s rules permit them, one ear only, low volume, and removed whenever you’re speaking with a guest, your lead, or during any announcement or emergency.
- Follow your lead’s instructions the first time.
- Arrive on time, in dress code, ready to work.
Commitments
- Event rules: you must review and follow all rules of the event or festival you’re working, as provided with your gig confirmation.
- No-call/no-show: warning on the first occurrence; removal from the roster on the second.
- Leaving a shift early without approval: warning on the first occurrence; removal from the roster on the second.
- Approved early departure: leaving for illness or emergency with your lead’s on-site approval is not counted as an offense, as long as the lead approves it on site and reports it.
- Event rule violations: warning on the first occurrence; removal from the roster on the second.
- Serious violations mean immediate removal from the roster. These include being ejected from the event site, violence or threats, theft, working while impaired, and harassment of guests or crew.
- Dropping an accepted gig: at least 48 hours’ notice required.
Governing law
Each gig is governed by the law of the state where the event or venue is located.
